The short version: your images never leave your device, we don’t use tracking cookies or sell data to anyone, and the only personal information we keep is what a purchase requires — your email and your license record.

Your images

Squishify processes images entirely in your browser. They are never uploaded to our servers — we don’t have servers that could receive them. In the WordPress plugin, finished images upload directly to your own WordPress site, never to us.

What we collect

• No account, ever. There are no sign-ups and no profiles. Free use needs nothing from you but the images you keep on your own device.
• Purchases. Payments are processed by Stripe, the merchant of record — card details go to Stripe, not us. From a purchase we receive and store your email address and a license record (key, product, subscription status), which we keep to activate your license and help you in support.
• License activation. When you activate or the app re-validates a license, it sends our API the license key and a random installation identifier. That identifier is generated locally and identifies the browser or site install — it is not derived from your hardware, and we do no fingerprinting.
• Analytics. We use Cloudflare Web Analytics — cookieless, aggregate page metrics with no cross-site tracking and no personal profiles.
• Usage. When you process images, we record an anonymous entry: a random ID with no personal information attached, which page brought you here, and how many images and bytes were processed. It tells us whether the app is actually working for people. It holds no IP address, no filenames, no image content, and nothing that identifies you or follows you across other sites. We delete that entry after 90 days, keeping only daily totals — how many people used the app that day and how many images they processed — which are just counts and describe no one.

What stays on your device

Your license key, app settings, and (in Pro) the autosaved session live in your browser’s local storage. They never sync anywhere. Clearing your browser data removes them.

Third parties

Two, both infrastructure: Stripe (payments, receipts, billing portal) and Cloudflare (hosting, analytics, our license API). We never sell or share your information for advertising.

Your data, your call

Want your purchase email removed from our records? Email hello@squishify.app from the purchase address. (Note: removing it means we can no longer look up your license if you lose your key.)
