Curated presets

One-click recipes for common jobs — hero images, product shots, social cards — tuned per format, applicable to one image or the whole queue.

Upscale

A source that came in under the size you need — a 600px product shot for a 1200px slot — doubled so it fits, before the resize and encode. A clean 2x, not an AI reconstruction: it gets the image to the size, it doesn’t invent detail that was never in the file. Toggle it per image, or let a preset apply it for you.

Color

Colorize, saturation and contrast — so a set of raw product shots comes out feeling like a set. Adjust one image, or apply the same look across the whole queue in one pass.

Watermark

Your own logo or a line of text on every image in the batch — a corner or the centre, a size, and how strong it should be. Sized as a share of each image, so one setting lands the same on a thumbnail and on a full-width hero. A logo can take a drop shadow so it still reads on a bright photo, and Squishify remembers it for next time.

Command Editor — experimental

Drive the whole queue by typing instead of clicking through it. Target images by position, filename, size or orientation — resize 1-2 800, crop landscape 16:9, rename *.png shot- — and see what each line will do before you run it. Turn on Record and it writes the commands for the work you do by hand, or press Dictate and say it out loud.

Palette

Pull the main colours straight out of an image — up to eight, read as the image will export, so a crop or a Color pass changes the answer. Copy one as hex, RGB or HSL, or take the whole set as CSS variables. In Grid it reads the whole batch at once, for when a page needs colours that suit every image on it.

Undo

Step back through your last three edits — a crop, a Color pass, an apply-to-all, even Clear images. ⌘Z or the Undo button beside Reset, in the editor and in Grid alike.

Quick Process

Confirm a recipe once — format, quality, size, even a rename prefix — then every image you drop runs straight through to the download. No editor, no per-image stop.

Queue reordering

Batch rename is free for everyone — number a whole sequence, with or without a prefix, or name every image in one pass. Pro adds drag-to-reorder, so you decide the order that numbering follows.

Save straight into a folder

Pick a destination once and your finished images land in it — no zip, no unzip, no dragging files out of Downloads. Squishify remembers the folder for next time and never overwrites: a name that’s already taken gets a numbered suffix. Chrome and Edge; Safari and Firefox keep the zip.

Do my images ever leave my computer?

Never. All compression happens in your browser — we don’t have servers that could receive your images. There’s no upload step at all until you choose to download the finished files.

Is the free web app really free?

Yes — free and fully functional, forever. No credits, no accounts, no cloud API. Free handles up to 25 images per batch; Pro (and the 7-day trial) takes 100. Resizing, cropping and batch rename are all free. Pro adds more ways to prep your assets: curated presets, Color, Quick Process, Upscale, queue reordering, and session recovery.

Is this a subscription?

Yes — Pro is $30/year, billed annually. Cancel any time through the billing portal; Pro keeps working through the end of your paid period, then reverts to the free version.

What’s your refund policy?

If Pro isn’t for you, email hello@squishify.app within 14 days of purchase. Payments are processed by Stripe; a refund deactivates the license.

What are the requirements?
